What are the best neighbourhoods in Antalya for independent travelers?
- Kaleiçi – the historic neighbourhood of Antalya, also known as Antalya Old Town. It’s one of the prettiest and best places to stay in Antalya. Filled with structures and buildings dating from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman eras, it’s perfect for those travelers who love architecture and history, and also being in the most prime location.
- Antalya City Centre – located right next to Kaleiçi, Antalya City Centre is a busy place with great shopping and dining options. As it’s very central, Antalya City Centre is one of the best places where to stay in Antalya. The beach and the Old Town are not too far away, about 10-40 minute walk away, depending on where exactly in the city centre you stay.
- Konyaalti – a beautiful, long beach in Antalya, one of the best beaches in Antalya city. It’s a busy area with loads of cafes, restaurants and shops. The best place to stay in Antalya if you love staying by the beach, while still being not too far away from the city and the old town.
