The KÜHL BANDITA women’s pullover is a lightweight pullover/jacket suitable for summer outdoor activities. Throw it in your backpack for the cool summer evenings, or wear it in the morning until the weather warms up later in the day. The pullover is crafted of lightweight, breathable and stretchy Polyester+Spandex blend. It features sun protection, too.

KÜHL BANDITA Women’s 1/2 Zip Pullover: Technical Details
The KÜHL BANDITA pullover is soft, extremely lightweight and stretchy.
Being lightweight, and featuring ventilation, the pullover is suitable for warm weather.
On top of that, it’s a sun protection shirt. The KÜHL BANDITA pullover offers a UPF 50 sun protection.
The pullover is made of durable stretch Polyester fabric (100% Polyester 104 GSM and 91% Polyester, 9% Spandex 62 GSM). It features strategically placed mesh venting for breathability and comfort. Also it has strategically placed form-fitting seams for a more feminine fit.
There are zippered hand pockets and internal thumb loops for extra warmth and comfort.
The KÜHL BANDITA features a roomy hood and a durable 1/2 zipper.
KÜHL BANDITA Women’s 1/2 Zip Pullover Review
1. It’s Surprisingly Lightweight
I was surprised at how light and thin it is.
Even though it’s thin, it doesn’t feel flimsy. Even less so, because it’s stretchy. It feels even more durable with the stretch.
The KÜHL BANDITA pullover looks and feels similar to a regular jacket/windbreaker, but it’s thinner and less bulky. Also, it’s slim fit which is very important to me. I don’t like bulky and too wide jackets and hoodies.
2. It’s Windproof
The KÜHL BANDITA pullover is windproof to some extent.
Even though it’s soft, stretchy and very light, it will protect you from the wind.
I went cycling on a cool and windy summer day, and I felt very warm wearing it. Under the KÜHL BANDITA pullover, I had the KÜHL ENGINEERED hoodie, and I felt toasty. But I didn’t feel too hot. To cool off, I unzipped the zip partially, and it worked really great.
3. It’s Warm
When I first put it on, I was surprised that it feels so warm!
I really didn’t expect that as the pullover looked really thin, and it’s material felt quite cool.
But its look is deceiving. Even though this KÜHL pullover is crafted of really thin and lightweight material, it’s definitely doesn’t feel cold on the skin. In fact, as soon as you put the pullover on, you start to feel toasty.
I found it really nice during the cool summer mornings when it keeps you warm and comfy until the weather warms up later in the day.
4. It’s Breathable
Despite being windproof, the KÜHL BANDITA pullover doesn’t trap in heat.
It is because it offers amazing ventilation.
There are mesh zones under the arms that will keep you cool.
On top of that, if you feel hot, you can open the 1/2 zipper to cool yourself off.
5. It Offers Sun Protection
As I’ve already mentioned, it’s a sun protection shirt.
The KÜHL BANDITA pullover’s fabric with sun protection will effectively protect you against damaging sun rays.
Rated UPF 50+, it offers excellent UV protection.
6. There Are a Few Nice Features
The KÜHL BANDITA pullover has a few nice features.
It has two zippered hand pockets. Well, basically it’s one pouch pocket with two zippered openings on either sides. It’s actually really good, as there always be enough space in your pockets. Keep in mind that these pockets are not really suitable for heavy items. As the fabric is lightweight, stuff you put there could weight down the jacket. It may be uncomfortable if you are short, and the pockets are located too low.
The pullover also has internal thumb loops that will keep your hands warm and provide easy layering.
Just like with KÜHL ENGINEERED hoodie, I was happy to discover that the hood is quite big. It’s large enough to put over my cap, and it doesn’t feel tight. Several sports jackets I’ve had had ridiculously small hoods. Luckily, this is not the case with KÜHL ENGINEERED hoodie and KÜHL BANDITA pullover.
7. It Looks Good and Fits Great
The KÜHL BANDITA pullover offers a slim-fit which I love.
It’s quite long, too. I’m 5’1 (156 cm), and it covers my hips. I guess, this pullover is great both for short and tall women. It will cover your back very well. And, depending on your height, it may also cover your hips, which is great. It will give you extra warmth around your hips.
This pullover has strategically placed form-fitting seams for a more tailored fit. This makes the BANDITA pullover look more feminine, and less bulky than some other sports tops and jackets.
I love the color, too. The KÜHL BANDITA comes in 2 pretty colors: blue and ‘desert pink’. Both of these color options look pretty and cute. My pullover is in blue which is a lovely and unobtrusive color.
Is There Something I Don’t Like?
No, not really. This pullover is great.
It’s lightweight. It’s wind-proof. It’s warm yet breathable. On top of it, it looks good, too.
There is one thing, though. The description on the website said the pullover has “zippered hand pockets and a concealed stash pocket”. Unfortunately, there is no stash pocket. But I’m not too bothered about that, as it’s enough for me with the two zippered hand pockets.
