Rike Park is the most central park in Tbilisi.

It’s right there, in the city center, a short walk away from the Freedom square. Most likely you have seen it already. You can’t really miss the futuristic Bridge of Peace and the cultural complex of Rike park if you’re walking around in Tbilisi. These places truly stand out and together make for a nice background for beautiful Tbilisi photos.

    Rike Park, Tbilisi: Basics

So yes, Rike park is a centrally-located park in Tbilisi.

This is also the place from where the Tbilisi cable car runs. If you want to take the cable car from or to the National Botanical Garden of Georgia, Mother of Georgia or Narikala Fortress — you’ll be have to go to Rike park. Also, many of Tbilisi boat tours start from the piers near the Rike park.

    LOCATION:

DISTANCE (from Freedom square): 0.5 miles / 0.8 km

That’s the distance if you’re taking the straightest road and cross the iconic Bridge of Peace (that futuristic looking bridge in the center of Tbilisi you definitely have already noticed). Otherwise, it’s a bit longer walk to get to the park.

TIPS: for the best views of Tbilisi cross the park and take the stairs to the upper platform. It’s beautiful from up there. You can get a view like this (below). Even though it may not seem like anything at all, only a little bit higher place.
